The post offices in Japan offer you many ways to send letters / packages abroad.


If you want to send stuff from Japan, the post offices offer you many ways. The chart below shows you rates and delivery days.

The post offices also handle Express Mail Service (EMS). If you are not sure which service to use, the site of Japan Post helps you choose one.

If you want to send a postcard by airmail, the stamp costs 70 yen(about 60 cent) regardless of countries to send to. You can get stamps at post offices and also some convenience stores.
