> Roppongi

Roppongi is where foreign people come most.

Roppongi has been famous as an international district with a lot of embassies and foreign companies.
Today, Roppongi seems to be picked as the best place for night life especially by foreigners.

There are so many bars, clubs, and also so many foreigners. Some restaurants which might be familiar to you, such as Hard Rock Cafe and T.G.I. Friday, are located there.

If you go to Roppongi on Friday/Saturday night, you won't believe you are in Japan. A lot of foreign people in/around Tokyo get together, get drunk, have a blast, and have fun here in Roppongi.

>> Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower is also in this area. It became popular again because it was used as the subject of the popular novel, so you might have to wait for about an hour to get a ticket to go up on weekends.

The tower is 333 meters high while the Eiffel Tower in Paris is 320.
It's strongly recommended to visit there at night not in the afternoon. It looks much more beautiful with lighting. You can go up to 150 and 250 meters from the ground.

It's open from 9 am to 10 pm.

>> Roppongi Hills

The area of tall buildings and various facilities, called Roppongi Hills, is considered to be symbolic of rich people.
The richest people run their business and live there. Those people are called "Hills zoku (zoku means family)".

Roppongi Hills consists of various facilities - Mori Art Museum, Grand Hyatt Tokyo, the observatory (Tokyo City View), the cinema complex (TOHO Cinemas), and over 100 shops and restaurants.

>> Tokyo Midtown

In 2007, Tokyo Midtown was opened as a rival of Roppongi Hills. Similar to Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown consists of various facilities such as Suntory Museum of Art and the Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo.
Also, you can enjoy gardens there.
